Nominees for the 2019 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) have been announced. Among the tall list of nominees are  Celestine Donkor,  Akesse Brempong,  Diana Hamilton,  Obaapa Christie, Enoch Narh and Nana Kweku Osei (Nacee) who battle it out  in the biggest category, Artist of The Year. Organized by Global Expert Recovery Ltd, the 3rd edition of the  Ghana National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) would see the voting academy wield 60% voting power whereas the general public wields a 40% voting power. Public voting begins on  January 1, 2020 via   ngmagh.com . The  2019 Ghana National Gospel Music Awards will be held on February  1, 2020. Ghanaian rapper CJ Biggerman says Ghanaians should watch out for a joint project from him and Rick Ross. The fast-rising rapper, who showed his rap skills to the US rapper as he arrived at the Kempiski Hotel, got the opportunity to perform with the MMMG boss at the Detty Rave Concert in Accra. Before calling the rapper on stage, Rick Ross urged Ghanaians to pay attention to the young rapper whom he described as a brother. CJ Biggerman who couldn’t hide his excitement after the performance expressed his gratitude to the show organizers. Speaking in an interview with JoyNews’ Becky, CJ revealed that he was in talks with Rick Ross and was hopeful of a collaboration. “I am so grateful to Mr. Eazi for making this happen for an upcoming artist like me. Bigger things are about to happen. Right now Rick Ross is my brother, we chat a lot in my dm, so let’s see what will happen.”

                                              PRESIDENT NANA ADDO DANQUAH January 7, 2020, has been declared a public holiday. A statement signed by the Minister for Interior, Ambrose Dery, said the day “has been declared a Public Holiday to mark “Constitution Day.” The statement called on Ghanaians to observe the day as a statutory public holiday throughout the country. “The general is hereby informed that Tuesday, 7th January 2020 which marks Constitution Day, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” the statement added. Background In December 2018 a bill was laid before Parliament to amend the Public Holiday Act 2001 to provide for three different holidays. Accra 4th December 2019 . MTN has once again apologized to customers for inconveniences caused by recent adjustments in its tariffs. The company also announced a 100 % bonus for all customers impacted by the recent issues. The announcement was made during a media briefing held yesterday at its Head Office in Accra.  The CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh said, “we wish to assure our customers that we have implemented a minimum of a 100% bonus on all Data bundles purchased from December1st to midnight of December 3rd. This is to give customers more value and appease them for the issues they faced during the period.
