  Oasis Pool and Shisha Lounge in Accra, owned by rapper D-Black, has been cut off from the national grid for power theft. The night club, which is said to be owned by popular hiplife musician D-Black, is located at Cantonments behind the police headquarters in Accra. Operators were caught red handed by the National Taskforce of the Electricity Company of Ghana  for bypassing the meter to use electricity. The Taskforce visited the premises of the lounge, where it uncovered the illegality, which is alleged to have taken place for a long time. The ECG has since served notice to the managers of the facility to report at their office for further interrogation. A number of public and private institutions have been caught over the past five weeks ever since the power distributor declared war on debtors and illegal connections.  News reaching the desk of Deckertheblogger has it that a level 200 male undergraduate has been allegedly murdered. According to a twitter user by the name Kofi Boateng , who has identified himself as the elder brother of the deceased, the alleged murder happened off campus, precisely at Atonsu Esereso, Divine Area, a suburb of Kumasi.  The 'deceased's brother' narrates that the incident ensued because 'his late younger brother' owed the suspect an amount of GH¢ 300, as accused by the suspect whose name remains undisclosed.  As of the time of this report,  the suspect is in police custody and assisting with investigations, according to Kofi Boateng.  We send our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.   Rakim Mayers, better known as A$AP Rocky, was detained on Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport in connection to a November 2021 shooting, according to multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the matter. Mayers was arriving on a private plane from Barbados, where he had been on vacation with his girlfriend, the singer Rihanna. According to the law enforcement sources, Rihanna was with Mayers when he was arrested, and a search warrant has been executed at Mayers’ residence in Los Angeles.   Mayers had been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for a Nov. 6 shooting near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave. around 10:20 pm. The shooting victim later told police that Mayers, who was walking with two others, approached him with a handgun on the street.
