Ghana’s ‘The Burial of Kojo’ considered for 2020 Golden Globes
Fresh from winning two awards at the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), ‘The Burial of Kojo’ is being considered for two nominations at 2020 Golden Globe Awards. The film is being considered for the ‘Best Motion Picture (Foreign Film)’ and ‘Best Director (Motion Picture)’ of the prestigious awards. This is coming barely a month after Blitz Bazawule, who was well-known as rapper Bazaar, received an award for ‘Best Director-First Feature Film’ at the 15 th edition of AMAA. At the same awards, Cynthia Dankwa was adjudged ‘Best Young/Promising Actor’ for her role as Esi in ‘The Burial of Kojo’.
