Accomplished Ivorian DJ and singer, DJ Arafat has reportedly passed on, according to Ivorian Public Radio-Television RTI.

The Award Winning singer was rushed to the hospital in a vegetative state after he was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle. 

The gory accident happened on Sunday night while the artiste was pronounced dead on Monday, 12th August 2019 at 8 AM thereabout.

DJ Arafat will famously be remembered for emerging as the Best Francophone Artist during the 2015 MAMAs while bagging a nomination for Best African Act at MTV EMA in that same year.

Following the announcement, renowned Nigerian Afropop act took to Instagram to pay his tribute to his fallen comrade.



May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Casford banging 101 The famous rivalry on UCC campus has been between The Casley Hayford Hall and The Atlantic Hall. Bragging rights between this two halls have been full of irritation and agitation. For the time being the bragging rights appear to belong to the Casfordians as they chased the ATL hallers from the Cape Coast stadium after the blackstars qualification match against South Africa last night.  The Casfordians managed to silence their rivals by not only chasing them but ceasing their bell and hall flag as a sign of victory over them.
