 During the pandemic,were most locality where on lockdown. The direction was shifted to the digital world. Everything was done online. We found entertainment,news,fun and enjoyment on the internet.

Musicians could not play shows with large crowd, thereby switching to virtual concerts. Most musician had to work from home to keep their fans entertained. All the musicians tried their best to keep the industry vibrant. Since 2020 is coming to an end let's run through musicians that made the most use of digital platforms this year.


1. Amerado

An enviable talent from Kumasi. Amerado made waves during lockdown with episodes of "Yeete Nsem" which reports happenings around the world in rap style. The top quality of this rapper cannot be denied as he delivered news in so many different rap styles as the weeks passed by. He released hit singles during this period,such as "Twa so" which features Fameye, another great talent. Amerado entertained most people with "Yeete Nsem" and reached so many views on YouTube during that period. This is a great work done by such a sensational talent who sees a very has a very great career ahead of him.


2. Kofi Mole

Rapper,Kofi Mole drove social media crazy with his short freestyle video dubbed"Mole Mondays". You'll mostly find the hashtag in the trends,on twitter. The rapper showed off his dynamic rap skills each Monday which entertained most people especially rap lovers. He was also able to grab a hit song from 'Atswei' which features Joey b. Mole made very good use of YouTube and this helped increased his total YouTube views.


3. Sarkodie

 Sarkodie really helped ease boredom during the pandemic times as he paired legendary producers on a face-off during an Instagram live session. This drove large masses to watch as it's been long those producers have been seen in the public arena. Apart from that,he also played online shows which was heavily patronised by fans and all other people.

 

4. Medikal

During the pandemic,MDK released lots of hit singles during this period and he has done a tremendous work. He also released other freestyles that brought out his A game. Looking at all this, I can say with no doubt that the rapper has had a successful journey this year and he must be applauded for.


5. Shatta Wale 

Shatta Wale held one of the most viral virtual concert in Ghana. He held the concert in home close to his pool. Masses gathered on youtube just to witness the iconic moment.

Casford banging 101 The famous rivalry on UCC campus has been between The Casley Hayford Hall and The Atlantic Hall. Bragging rights between this two halls have been full of irritation and agitation. For the time being the bragging rights appear to belong to the Casfordians as they chased the ATL hallers from the Cape Coast stadium after the blackstars qualification match against South Africa last night.  The Casfordians managed to silence their rivals by not only chasing them but ceasing their bell and hall flag as a sign of victory over them.
