VIDEO: MYSTIC ‘VENOM’ RESEMBLING CREATURE GETS INTERNET USERS AGOG

The video of a living creepy bulky dark colloidal clustered or coiled creature on a rock at shore surfaced on the internet on Thursday, 2nd April 2020, via the twitter handle of @sunnyarkad as the tweep quizzed; “Anybody know what this is?”.


As it turned out, he wasn’t the only one befuddled at the sight of this mystic creature. It was just a matter of seconds when numerous other tweeps started registering their intense curiosity over the identity of the organism getting it into the top trends in some countries especially South Africa.

Enthusiasts of Marvel Movies were quick to point out the likeness in appearance of this creature and a laboratory image of the villainous Marvel character, Venom. An obvious religious fan of Marvel went on to successfully play scores of curious tweeps in the thread into briefly believing the false identity he humorously sold.

The call on science twitter never ceased. Soon there was a break as another user shared what appears plausible and close to the fact if not the actual fact itself. So this mystic creature is apparently the highly toxic bootlace worm as first shared by @iamgezel_

A fact-check via the internet revealed that she is right. Additionally, this worm was discovered by a team of Swedish scientists as the longest animal on earth and also known to produce a very powerful neurotoxin that protects it from its predators including crabs and cockroaches by paralyzing them and consequently enabling the worms to escape.

Casford banging 101 The famous rivalry on UCC campus has been between The Casley Hayford Hall and The Atlantic Hall. Bragging rights between this two halls have been full of irritation and agitation. For the time being the bragging rights appear to belong to the Casfordians as they chased the ATL hallers from the Cape Coast stadium after the blackstars qualification match against South Africa last night.  The Casfordians managed to silence their rivals by not only chasing them but ceasing their bell and hall flag as a sign of victory over them.
