In his expression of praise, he took time to highlight how pivotal the president’s decision to declare a lockdown in some parts of the country has been towards the nation’s fight against the spread of the virus.
“The President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo has taken good decisions and issued good directives to help fight the Covid-19 outbreak, from his first address till date. Health issues are of paramount in every society and the president has reiterated that in this situation. We must be grateful as a people for his decision to declare a lockdown as it has done well to considerably cripple the movement of the virus by significantly limiting the movement of people. Especially considering the fact that the virus thrives on the movement of people to spread”, the TESCON organiser asserted.
Mr Salis went on to commend Information Minister, Honorable Kojo Oppong Nkrumah for his diligence in keeping Ghanaians consistently updated on issues surrounding the development.
