Organisers are also promising an an array of “African-influenced food trucks and chefs from around London”.
Yam Carnival is yet another addition to an already bustling festival calendar on the final weekend of August. All Points East, Field Day and Maiden Voyage will take place in London, while Creamfields, Reading and Leeds and Victorious are among the big-name festivals set to happen around the country. It still remains to be seen whether Notting Hill Carnival will return to west London that weekend, too.
