KUMERICA DRILL GANG BAGS INTERNATIONAL FEATURE
To the average follower of worldwide music, Drill as a genre in the West is common knowledge, with the relatively recent genre of music catching flames beyond the bounds of its beginnings. Thanks to famous ones as Pop Smoke.
Well, the flame caught up with Ghana and particularly landed on the tongues of none other than the sensational young kings from the viral artistically made-up nation, Kumerica. These lads resounding took social media by storm some months ago, not just with their impressive Drill bangers but also with their ostensible costumes and swagger. As it turned out, this group of young kumericans are the trailblazers of Drill in Ghana. They have been able to create a new path off the regular Ghanaian music sounds.
Drill from Kumasi, Ghana (not the origin though) has spread beyond the borders of the country with such a wild wave. Their first viral clip is of the song titled ‘SORE', by Yaw Tog, one of the emerging rappers from Ghanaian city, Kumasi. This video got lots of buzz from drill lovers all over the world.
Having received widespread traction by music lovers in Ghana, the gang will count this a feather in the cup as they have received an international feature from one of the biggest globally acclaimed news portals, “Complex UK”. The story featured various rappers from kumerica, among which included the likes of Yaw Tog, O'Kenneth, Sean lifer, Kwaku DMC, City boy, Reggie, and Jay bhad. Very strong potential in these young acts that has been internationally recognised.
Hopefully this spurs them on to greater heights of exploits. Kumerica to the zenith!
