KwekuBs part ways with la meme gang.


Afro pop and La Meme Gang sensation, Kweku Bs has in a Public Service Announcement via his twitter handle in the early hours of Friday, 18th June 2020, renounced his membership with the youthfully exuberant music group.

This comes as a shock to many fans - or  ravers as they’re known as - of La Meme Gang. The heavily talented Afro Pop star attributed his decision to leave the group to irreconcilable differences he has had with the management as well as members of the collective. He further hinted that accusations of sexual abuse and rape leveled against of the members of the gang by some social media users considerable contributed to his decision to part ways with the collective.

The group gave this young sensations a very good platform to vitrine their unique and artistic talents. The gang which formally consisted of Darkovibes, RJZ, Kidblack, $pacely, KwekuBs and North is one of the vibrant hip pop groups in Ghana. Many connoisseurs of the industry had tipped them for a BET nomination some years to come and it is yet to known how much this split will affect the group’s collective progressive potential.

“Owing to irreconcilable differences between myself and the management, as well as the membership of the collective, I have chosen to leave”, He stated.

He further declared his support for the ladies who had accused members of the gang of rape, while urging all to also support any pursuit for any form of justice.

“This is NOT a time to be silent about any form of injustice, especially ones committed against black women”, he further added.

We wish KwekuBs and the La Meme Gang all the best they deserve in their future endeavours.

Casford banging 101 The famous rivalry on UCC campus has been between The Casley Hayford Hall and The Atlantic Hall. Bragging rights between this two halls have been full of irritation and agitation. For the time being the bragging rights appear to belong to the Casfordians as they chased the ATL hallers from the Cape Coast stadium after the blackstars qualification match against South Africa last night.  The Casfordians managed to silence their rivals by not only chasing them but ceasing their bell and hall flag as a sign of victory over them.
