LEGENDARY GH RECORD PRODUCER VENTS AT RAPPER, SARKODIE OVER ‘DISRESPECTFUL’ COMPARISON

Legendary Ghanaian record producer has taken to social media to register in plainest fashion, his displeasure towards Ghanaian and BET Maiden Best International Flow Award Winner, Sarkodie, over what he describes as disrespectful comparison. 

Earlier on Tuesday, 31st March, 2020, the King of Sarknation, indicated his desire to host a showdown between Hammer and Zapp Mallet with another duel being between Appietus and Jay Q, live on Instagram under the hashtag, ‘BehindDaHitz’.



As it turned out, this didn’t go down well with the veteran recording engineer and record producer, as he took to twitter to express his belligerence about the rapper’s tweet and decision to mention him in the same sentence as fellow engineer Hammer who is relatively younger, considerably, both in age and in the industry - citing it as a show of lack of respect.

“...you don't compare somebody who was churning out hits before you made Kindergarten with your mate who just started a couple of years back. Show some respect”, the veteran intimated in his tweet.

Zapp Mallet’s lustrous career is embellished by works with a lot of ace musicians in the GH music industry across many different generations including the likes of Kofi Antwi, Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya, Becca, Wutah, just to mention a few.

Casford banging 101 The famous rivalry on UCC campus has been between The Casley Hayford Hall and The Atlantic Hall. Bragging rights between this two halls have been full of irritation and agitation. For the time being the bragging rights appear to belong to the Casfordians as they chased the ATL hallers from the Cape Coast stadium after the blackstars qualification match against South Africa last night.  The Casfordians managed to silence their rivals by not only chasing them but ceasing their bell and hall flag as a sign of victory over them.
