A member of OSAG-UCC screening a participant 10th October, internationally earmarked as the world vision day is meant to raise public awareness of blindness and vision impairment. Celebrating the occasion, the Optometry Students Association of Ghana, UCC Chapter (OSAG-UCC), undertook a free eye screening exercise on Thursday while counselling participants based on the respective outcome of the screening. As part of the exercise, the students also sensitised participants on lifestyles that will inure to the benefit of the health of the eyes. The group further stressed on the need to prevent digital eye strain by reducing screen times.
