As technology will have it be, the solution to every problem that stares society in the face lies in the effective application of creativity and innovation.

Kantanka Automobile Company Limited ingenuously proves this by manufacturing a new 4x4 vehicle that is designed to prevent drunk driving. The vehicle is programmed to not respond if the car is started by a drunk driver.

In a video spotted on social media, the vehicle could be seen being tested as two people took turns to start it. The first person who by guess is intoxicated failed to start the car as it wouldn't respond contrary to the outcome that was observed of the second person who was supposedly not drunk.

The principle by which the car is designed to detect intoxication remains unclear.

Drunk driving has been the bane of safety on our roads and the effectiveness of such innovation will go a long way to help maintain sanity on our roads.
